About US
-
Pasadena Special Hockey exists to serve individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities through the sport of hockey, while providing an environment of learning, mutual respect and a sense of community to players and families
-
We have received incredible support from our local hockey community, including Pasadena Maple Leafs Hockey Club / Rose City Pats and Pasadena Center Operating Company. Many of our volunteer youth coaches play on Leafs/Pats teams, and PCOC generously donates the ice for our program.
-
Pasadena Special Hockey started in 2011 with around 35 participants, most of whom had never been on ice skates before!. In the decade-plus since that first frantic day, we’ve had hundreds of athletes participate in our program, including many who have been with us from the beginning.
We currently skate out of Pasadena Ice Skating Center:
300 E Green St, Pasadena, CA 91101
