Welcome!

We are excited to continue offering our community program to teach hockey to athletes with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This is a wonderful opportunity for everyone to learn to play this exciting sport in a family-friendly environment of learning, mutual respect and a sense of community, with an experienced and dedicated coaching staff.

REQUIREMENTS

Our program serves athletes with a range of diagnosed intellectual and developmental disabilities, including (but not limited to) autism spectrum disorder, fragile X syndrome, Down syndrome, Tourette syndrome, and cerebral palsy.

Full hockey protective gear is mandatory at all times on the ice, including helmet, gloves, elbow pads, shin pads, and pants. Equipment may be available for long-term use for participants free of charge, depending on availability; please note that our equipment is donated, so we may not have all required gear for every athlete.

Program participants should be 7 years of age or older.

No previous experience or ability to skate is required for participation - all are welcome!
